I think we are fine within our division. Tiki retired, don't know how good his backup was. Portis is getting older, probably not as big a threat anymore. Dallas still has the same backs. Not sure about the AFC teams we face this year, but I don't think we have to worry about the NFC North backs. We should be ok, but you never know. Stopping the run has been an issue for a couple years now. I don't mind giving up yards, if they don't convert into points. That's the biggest stat that concerns me, do we score more than the other team. If so, then I don't care how many yards they get.

Yea, picking up Spikes definitely made it easier to release Trot. Right now, Omar Gaither will be playing the Middle Linebacker, that could change later, but that is the set up right now. Hopefully it works. We are kinda small at linebacker, so a bruising back might be able to run through them, but the smaller quicker linebacker is better for covering receivers.

Unfortunately for Trotter, his knees are in bad shape, and he lacks the speed needed to play the position. I liked Trot, but for the betterment of the team, he needed to go. The Eagles have done pretty well at knowing when to release players before they become a liability, I will have to trust their judgement on theis.

Good morning nyislanders. Eagles didn't look too impressive last night, good thing it is only preseason. Andy Reid has a 12-21 record in preseason, so I usually don't get to upset over losses, nor do I go crazy over wins.

Glad you found this place. The page looks good. Lot's to do here, check out the news section, if you find an interesting article online, you can post it there. I have been creating quizzes each week for the upcoming tracks, give-em a try, I don't make them too easy though. The arcade is fun, lots of games to choose from.
