Scooter,

I used my wife's canon rebel xt (tx? maybe) w/ a telephoto lens.  It works qute well.  Took those from row 43 at the exit of turn 4.  As far as the truck goes, I live on a dirt road and had to plow mud to town a few times last week and the parking lot was a swamp, so I figured I'd just wash it once when I got home.  Looks pretty nasty in the pics though.  :)

Hey scooter, just checkin' the page out. Pretty cool gallery you got going there and I actualy made it through all 149 images.

Looking forward to (what looks to be) an exciting year of cup racing, I may even get out of Alaska and actualy attend one of the races on the west coast this year. It has been six years since I have been out of state and feel like it is time to get out & see how the rest of the world lives again. Anyway I have been looking at some of the package deals that are offered online but it doesn't make much sence to me to pay for an expensive hotel room with four/five star service when I will spend all of my time @ the track or on the town. Maybee I should check into renting an R.V. and the price of parking on of those in the infield for the weekend, is that possible? Have you ever done that? Hell that sounds better than a hotel room to me. No lines at the restroom or consession stand either.

I didnt know that you went to the truck race? I was there aswell. i remember we sat down close for both truck and cup races and that truck wreck was scary as hell. me and my dad both heard the BOOM of the trucks hitting the wall. wrecks may be cool on TV, but in real life. they are really scary.
